Finding the Perfect OE Replacement Headlight For Your Classic Peterbilt
All right gang. It’s Brian Martin the Bossman over here at 4 State Trucks. We are talking about Peterbilt headlights. For years the dual round headlight assembly like we used to get on the 359s and even some of the Freightliners back in the day was only to be found in a salvage yard. And that is if you got lucky.
Before now most of us had to settle with an aftermarket version for this headlight. There are several aftermarket parts with a quality stainless steel bucket or even with different bulb choices. However, if you want actual OE quality you will need to look a little harder.
OE Quality Dual Round Headlight Replacement
Thankfully, the folks at Dirks recently launched an OE-quality aluminum bucket light assembly to factory standards. It has the same quality of headlight buckets, metal work, and bezel that would have come with a new Peterbilt in the 1980s.
Dirks’ duel round headlight assemblies are made to be of original factory quality. Like the original part, each assembly includes a nice wire loom and bullet connectors on the end. There is a passenger side and a driver side assembly, so make sure you order the parts you need.
Create That Classic Style
We have put a lot of these on drop brackets to install on 389s and 379s. There are many ways to use them when giving your truck a classic style. They look great when installed in some modified Kenworths.
If you are wanting the real deal factory quality headlight that is going to last 12 to 5 years on your truck these Aluminum Dual Round Headlamp Assemblies
from Dirks are in stock at 4 State Trucks. They are currently in stock and selling fast. We would love to fix you up with a set.
