Hey Folks, Brian Martin The Boss Man here at Four State Trucks. We are going to spend a little time talking about the Cubby Buddy Storage System and how to make it work for you. As we open the side box under our sleepers, it is not unusual to see stuff packed and crammed in there in total disarray.
The cubby buddy is a modular storage system with optional stackable drawers that will help bring a little organization to this mess. They are great for providing a place to keep small tools, zip ties, brass fittings, light bulbs, small spare parts, and other items you want to keep on hand. In addition to providing easy access to everything you are storing, each compartment has a lining to prevent contents from moving and becoming damaged.
Choosing The Right Size
These modular toolboxes can install as a single unit or can stack on top of each other. To take into account the different sizes of sleeper side compartments for various models there are a few different size options. The Cubby buddy is 11 inches wide with the option of compartments with a 20-inch depth or 24-inch depth. Each unit is available in a single 2-inch drawer, a double 2-inch drawer, or a single 4-inch drawer.
First, choose what space you want your cubby buddy to fill and what depth of a unit you need. Then decide the type of base unit that will fit the function you need the best. This unit will always be a the bottom of your unit. It comes with an adjustable bottom bracket that allows it to sit above the surface so the bottom drawer can open with ease over a ledge. Next, choose any add-on units you want to mount on top of the base. At last, rearrange your add-on units to create a storage area in your truck to meet your needs.
