Installation Of A 165 Billet Steering Wheel With Polished Adapter By Detail

Use a small screwdriver to remove horn button.

Remove nut and use a basic automotive steering wheel puller

to remove original wheel, secure two mounting bolts

and then tighten center bolt gradually until steering wheel is "loose".

Remove puller and lift steering wheel off column.

New billet wheel / adapter/ bolt kit

Billet adapter does not include splined hub

Use a die grinder and cutoff wheel (wear eye protection)

to remove 3 rivets that secure "hub" to "steering wheel".

Using supplied bolts, securely fasten hub to billet adapter.

Place adapter on column

Install / tighten nut.

Mount billet wheel to hub. Make sure it is "centered up"!

Tighten 9 supplied mounting bolts

Connect "horn" wire.
