CSM BOSS NOTES - MAY - JUNE 2008

Here we are-smack dab in the middle of the ‘CSM Road Show’ season!  Just last week G-man and I were discussin’ our upcoming schedule-it looks like CSM is attending an event or show 16 out of the next 32 weekends!!  WOW-no slowing down this year, huh?  Oh well, no worries- We are at our best when we are hangin’ with the folks at the truck shows-that’s where the action is and where the FUN is!  You won’t see the CSM Crew displaying at car shows, racing events or bike rallies- we gave that a try in 2007 and we  quickly decided - CSM goes where the truckers go!  You are the reason for our success and our goal is to cater to the truck owners and truck drivers…….that is Job One for us!

Some of the highlights this summer are the Great Western Truck Show in Vegas in late June,
G-man and I will head up this display, come out and see something a little different than our usual-we will have the Parts & Chrome Expo display set up and the focus will be on parts more so than apparel.  Then in August, nearly the whole gang will be on hand to ‘cuss & discuss’ the state of the chrome and custom industry at GATS in Dallas Texas!  At this event we will have the merchandise trailer as well as the Parts & Chrome Expo-plus several of the CSM custom trucks will be displayed for your viewing pleasure!

At the time of this writing, we’ve got the ol’ W900A Kenworth, belonging to Don Wolford- recipient of the Castrol Big Honkin Truck Makeover Sweepstakes,- in the shop, tore down and under construction.  This ‘bad boy’ will be revealed to the attendees of the Great American Truck Show in Texas!  Don had a love for the muscle cars of the late 60’s-early 70’s-so, we will incorporate this hot rod look into his KW!

If you get a chance, tune in to Sirius channel 147 Thursdays at 11am central for the CSM feature hour on FreeWheelin’.  If you miss that, no fear-dial in to MidNight Trucking Radio Network every Wednesday night at midnight for a short feature with CSM and Eric Harley on MTRN!
Heck, if you are really a fan-tune in for both broadcasts!!  We have a lotta’ fun broadcasting to the truckin’ community and participating with these 2 super programs!
