The California based Sandvik crew: Bill, Chuck, Al & Sammy really transformed the ol’ ‘92 into a ‘show winner’! The truck had originally been set up with a 96” bunk, which was removed and replaced with a 63” Peterbilt sleeper. They cut out the rear cab to make room for the uni-bilt opening, installed custom upholstery, granite floors and several cool billet and chrome trim pieces! New paint was laid down by Jon Peters, and then the gang went to work and assembled the rig in just a few weeks! That’s no small thing when you notice all the ‘trick’ features incorporated into this build: ‘Shave’ the cab lights, boltless 16” sun visor, fiberglass fenders front & rear, full frame covers and belly pan, ‘one-off’ billet mirror brackets by Capone Customs, 8” pipes, 22” VCP bumper, and a custom rear light bar to finish the rear!
The Sandviks have been steady participants at the Show-N-Shine events for many years and they consistently build extremely appealing show trucks that ALL truckers can appreciate.
Always ready to offer help if needed, hard working, and ‘tried & true’ in the trucking biz’, the Sandvik folks are a pleasure to see and spend time with at any event!
Keep On Truckin’, ya’ll!
